History: Right before she became deputy of ThunderClan, she gave birth to three kits -- Mistyfoot, Stonefur and one who died as a kit -- whom she gave to Oakheart to take to RiverClan and train them as ordinary RiverClan warriors. It wasn't until Bluestar was leader and the kits were warriors that they found out their true heritage -- that they were half-Clan cats.
Random Fact: Bluestar's warrior name was orginally going to be Bluestone, but the authors thought it sounded too much like 'Moonstone', so they changed it.

Clan: ShadowClan
Appearance: Dark brown tabby with amber eyes
Love/Mate: Goldenflower; Sasha
History: He murdered Redtail, hoping to become deputy, but Ravenpaw, his apprentice, saw and told Firestar. Eventually, Firestar was able to reveal the truth about the dark warrior and he saw sent into exile, only to become leader of ShadowClan. He was killed by the BloodClan leader Scourge.
Random Fact: Tigerstar probably mated with Sasha around the time of Rising Storm, when he was a rogue himself.

Clan: ThunderClan
Appearance: Grey tabby with yellow eyes
Love/Mate: Silverstream
History: He once fell into the river and was rescued by the RiverClan she-cat, Silverstream, who he fell in love with. In Dawn he was captured by Twolegs and he hasn't been seen since.
Random Fact: The authors have mentioned that Greystripe will be coming back.

Name: Sandstorm

Clan: ThunderClan
Appearance: Pale ginger she-cat with green eyes
Love/Mate: Firestar
History: When Firestar first joined ThunderClan, she hated him. But after he saved her from falling into the gorge, she began to like him more, and eventually she fell in love with him.
Random Fact: Neither Sandstorm's, nor Dustpelt's, nor Ravenpaw's, nor Greystripe's parents are ever mentioned. None of them have siblings either.

Name: Squirrelflight
Gender: Female
Clan: ThunderClan
Appearance: Dark ginger she-cat
Love/Mate: Brambleclaw (?)
History: Though not one of StarClan's chosen, she followed the chosen cats on the journey and fell in love with Brambleclaw. But after Brambleclaw started becoming friends with his half-brother, Hawkfrost, she grew apart from him.

Name: Leafpool
Gender: Female
Clan: ThunderClan
Appearance: Light brown tabby she-cat
Love/Mate: Crowfeather
History: When the Clan cats arrived in their new home, it was Leafpool who discovered the Moonpool. Over time, she fell in love with Crowfeather.

Name: Brambleclaw

Appearance: Dark tabby with amber eyes
Love/Mate: Squirrelflight (?)
History: He was one of StarClan's chosen and was the one who originally thought of going to the sun-drown place.

Name: Stormfur

History: Though one of StarClan's chosen, he left his Clan to join the Tribe to be with Brook.

Name: Feathertail

History: She was one of StarClan chosen, however, she died saving Crowfeather and the Tribe from Sharptooth.

Name: Tawnypelt

Appearance: Tawny coloured she-cat with green eyes
Love/Mate: None
History: Thought born and brought up in ThunderClan, she left to go join ShadowClan as an apprentice. She was also one of StarClan's chosen.

Name: Crowfeather

Clan: WindClan
Appearance: Smoky grey tom
Love/Mate: Feathertail; Leafpool
History: He was one of StarClan's chosen and was saved by Feathertail in Moonrise. Over time, he fell in love with Leafpool.

Other Characters of Some Importance:
Ravenpaw: At one time, Ravenpaw was Tigerclaw's apprentice, but after witnessing the death of Redtail, Firestar realized that Ravenpaw was in danger if he stayed in the Clan. He now lives with the loner Barley.
Spottedleaf: The pretty tortoiseshell she-cat that often comes to Firestar and Leafpaw in dreams.
Brokenstar: The old villainous ShadowClan leader who drove out WindClan some time after Firestar joined ThunderClan.
Yellowfang: Brokenstar's mother as well as the former ShadowClan medicine cat, Runningnose's mentor and eventually the ThunderClan medicine cat.
Hawkfrost and Mothwing: Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt's half-brother/half-sister, Hawkfrost and Mothwing are the kits of the rogue, Sasha, who stayed with RiverClan for a short while.
Brook Where Small Fish Swim: In Moonrise, Brook falls in love with Stormfur. In Dawn, Stormfur decides to stay with her and the Tribe.
