is designed to allow those with limited free time to enjoy playing
against real opponents on your own schedule.
Is this Play by Email? No! gatlingWeb is a turn-based interface. It
keeps track of the game state for you, enforces legal moves, and
notifies you via E-Mail when it is your turn. Users can submit a move
and continue on with their busy day. However, if all opponents are
online at the same time, the game will move much more quickly. No
software download is required. Simply create an account, log in, and
start playing!
To view a completed web game, click on one of the 2p, 3p, etc links to
the left under the Recent Winners section.
gatlingWeb is developed against the latest versions of Internet
Explorer, Firefox, and Opera and should display correctly on these
browsers.
Real-time play is provided by our proven gatlingEngine technology. The
gatlingEngine is a win32 client that connects to our gatlingNet
server. This combination allows many users logged in simultaneously,
and easy creation of game lobbies, saving and resuming of games, and
observers.
To play in real-time, you must download and install the gatlingEngine.
