And all this time we thought it would be Microsoft that would bring Armageddon. How wrong we were... This heralds the end of all things. I am sure of it. Soon shall cities burn and seas boil. The denziens of the lower realms will stalk the earth and the blood of innocents shall flow like the mightiest of rivers. The pure will become tainted, the mighty powerless, and the holy shall fall prey to their own darkest emotions and desires. Only those without even the basest of morals and ethics may survive in this new world. It is at this time that I would like to announce not only that I accept the inevitable, but also embrace it. I have much experience subjugating the weak and stupid, and I could get to like the random violence with a minimum of adjustment. *hands over resume* ... Or it might be possible that I'm overreacting and it's merely a lame idea for a crunchy-type thing. *cough* HEY, LOOK, AN UPDATE IN PROGRESS! *runs* |
![]() Shikyo |
*knocks Weaver out* Anyway, now that this little episode's over, I welcome you to another 3 months of non-updatedness. ..Well, technically 2 months and a handful of days, but eh, who acctually comes here enough to count that out? |

This is a tad late, but the Warcraft III is good. I have never spent so much time poking units before. This conversation was brought to you by my boredom.(Copyright 1983-2003 me) Tonight's sponsor: Blizzard Entertainment. Making you poke things instead of fight for amusement since whenever the hell Warcraft 2 came out. Also sponsored by: Italics. Aren't they fun? |

*stands atop... something tall* MY PEOPLE! *crickets are heard* ... *mutters* ... MY PERSON! I have seen The Animatrix, and it was good. I hereby decree that all in my kingdom *more crickets* ... shall seek out this DVD, and watch it, so that you too may revel in Beyond, and Detective Story, and the others which are not quite as good as these two, but still each quite shiny. *climbs down* |

Minor updates here and there. This is more or less another reminder that this page isn't dead yet.
Don't you just HATE it when the post titles have nothing to do with the post's contents? I know I do. |
| April 6, 2003 - Update forthcoming | |
![]() WeaverKin |
Within a few hours, a new update should be done. Should be. Possibly. ... What's that Xenosaga? You want me to play you? ... Well, alright... To all those who regularly contact me, I rarely use my older AIM account, and can now be bothered at Mr Tzeentch instead. |
| March 5, 2003 - Still around | |
![]() WeaverKin |
Is this a dead site? No. But the asinine file upload limit is still in place, so... don't expect much in the way of new shiny stuff... yet. |
| January 16, 2003 - No more cobwebs | |
![]() WeaverKin |
Yes, the Warhammer 40K page actually has an update. Look at it now, for this doesn't happen often. |
| January 13, 2003 - Not quite dead | |
![]() WeaverKin |
No, I'm still here. Aren't you lucky? Oh, and to my host... "Non-Premium FreeWebs Users can only have up to 50 files. To upload an unlimited number of files, please upgrade your account to Premium User status by signing up for any service from your Premium Services area." ... fuck you too. |

First, to let you know why I'm being an asshole, this link: More Video Game Rating Shit Now... you see these? See the pretty things in red circles? ![]() ![]() They're known as "ESRB ratings". You see, you look at these ratings, and they give a good estimate as to the age group that the game in question is appropriate for, in this case, "Teen". So, buying this game for a semi-impressionable ten year old just might be a bad idea. Now that I'm done with the sarcasm (mostly)... those ratings are there for a fucking REASON, people. If you're too busy that you can't be bothered to spend 5 seconds checking the rating of a game before you buy it for your child, then you sure as hell have no right to complain about the violence contained therein. Hell, you shouldn't even HAVE children if you're that stupid. On a separate note entirely, what the hell is this part about? "'This year's grade reflects the dramatic increase in violent games and, in particular, games rewarding violence against women,' the report's authors said. In one of the animated games, the player scores points as a male figure gets into a car and has sex with a prostitute, then scores more points when he beats and kicks her to get his money back. In another, the male figure blasts away at various female figures with a gun, while in another game actual video tape of strippers is featured." The first comment is obviously talking about the GTA games (though they got the thing about "points" horribly wrong, probably phrased that way to get people to complain... first, you spend the cash (that's c-a-s-h, not points), and then, get it back. As would actually happen if you were to pay and then kill someone and steal the cash back. It's not about sexism, it's about realism. Get it right.) I hate to break it to them, but the game isn't about beating the crap out of prostitutes or women. It is a game about crime, and you can focus on women as targets of violence, but, that'd be a choice of the player (and if the player chooses to do nothing but that, they likely had problems waaaay before they played GTA) and was sure as hell NOT something the game designers were going for. The second example, I have no idea, that could be any of several games, but all of which have BOTH male and female targets (I'm willing to bet if the targets were male only, they'd bitch about the game being sexist... ah, lose-lose situations... gotta love 'em). I'm pretty sure that BMX XXX is the target of the last one, and though probably a crap game, videos of strippers is hardly "violent". That whole "violence towards women" thing is obviously bunk. The solution has been around for a long goddamn time. Parents: pay attention to the ratings. Retailers: card people, no matter how much they bitch and moan about it. Why am I complaining about an article that isn't all that inflammatory? 'Cause I'm bored, I'm tired of this kinda crap, aaand... well, that's all, but it's enough. |

Weaver, it's useless. They won't stop till this is the only game avalible:![]() (Thanks to some guy who's name I can't remember on Fark.) |

Weaver has done a quality post today. I would refute him if he wasn't so RIGHT. Damn him. Anyway I also would like to note that my cat FINALY had her kittens. I know NO ONE cares but I feel like posting it anyway. Details: Two kittens. White one weighing 3.6 oz. Grey one weighing 3.2 oz. (Not that I would weigh my kittens on a kitchen scale or anything....) Grey one likes to sleep on my shirt. White one is the most active newborn I've ever seen. Both have GREAT lungs. Loud as all hell. I have found my cat, amusingly enough, trusts me. She gave birth behind a bookcase. Most cats refuse to let people near their kittens. My cat has desided to do the cutest thing. She keeps bringing one out to me, dashing behind the bookcase to care for the other, then coming back out to trade me kittens and hide once again.... It is SOOOOO cute... |

Legend of legaia is worth buying. I can honestly say that and I'm not even half way through(I think). Good combo attack system, plenty of action. And when you get your mystic arts.....oh....god...the....PAIN. To Weaver's comments, I agree as well as to Shikyo. And this shit about videogames inspiring violents PISSES ME OFF! I mean come on, first off the people complaning ARE the ones responsible. You asshole parents, IT IS YOUR FUCKING CHILD! You don't want em playing GTA3 or Unreal Tournament, don't let them buy it! Now, to the ones who point at Colimbine(sp?), and say games are to blame, again, where the hell were the parents to stop this??? Next question, ok if this drove them to that, what about the thousands of people who bought it and didn't go on a killing spree hm? Explain why the majority of players AREN'T psycopaths if these games aparently make 'em? In my opinion, these games do exactly the opposite, they allow us to vent safely so we don't go out to some jiffy mart and blow the hell outta it with a machine gun. Oh, and one more question about those guys, who says they weren't just stark raving mad to begin with? Thank you, now please blame the proper people when you're trying to make a fault. I know that won't happen cuz it's easier to scapegoat the games but hell, I said it anyway. |
| December 11, 2002 - Boredom | |

To those that were confused by my last post... good. If you understood, either you've played a certain game, or you're just completely insane. Either way. MechAssault review is now up, and, now that I have XBox Live, it can get a fair review. (For those interested, my tag is the same as my name here and on AIM. Splinter Cell still has no review, but I can say the following with confidence: despite any comparisons you may have heard, SC plays NOTHING like MGS2. Not even close. Lastly, Phantom Crash is fun. Kinda like a mini-Armored Core with a Gran Turismo-like interface. I'll probably be picking this one up eventually. |

I have no reason to make poor ol' Weaver update this other then my own boredom. So here I am... Forcing him to post this... Um... I guess I'll Start doing more reviews of things.... SAY! Anybody out there got any DWI files? I am amassing as many as I can get... only have like 300 right now. If you have/need any IM me @ Malkamar on AIM! Or you could E-mail me (DWIS@Malkamar.com) But on my e-mail I may never EVER read it. Make your subject something obviously NOT spam. Otherwise *blip* it WILL be deleted. Also, a semi-rant against morons. I work at a used video game store. We have 6 signs hanging up that say we DO NOT give cash refunds. We also have it printed at the bottom of EVERY receipt we print. STILL we have people come in with things they bought wanting cash refunds. We had a lady today who didnt read the signs or the receipt and bitched enough that we called the owner and let HIM deal with her. (He told us in the end to just stick it to her so NEH!) If you can't read, don't go shopping at my stores. Just nip off and shoot yourself instead! |

To the guy who returned Wild Arms 3 after renting it for months on end, you're still an ass. Thank you. The rest of you may carry on with your lives. (If you wanna contact me about my dislike for you, sir/madam/jerk-off, prove it's worth my time and e-mail me. The link for that is around here somewhere.) |

Nothing beats flying down the road at 60+ MPH, only to have a cop car pull infront of your PCJ-6000 and launch you down another city block, just to crack your skull into sidewalk. If you couldn't tell, I'm playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. And you should too. And I kept my promise, Kayla finally blasted "God." |

Hello world. Due to the fact that my local area is full of asshats I have lost hearing in my left ear. This jerk decided to jump on the DDR pad while I was playing and due to my natural luck he ends up punching me in the left ear causing me to be partialy deafened in my left ear for a while... According to the ear doc I can't lift anything heavy or doing anyting in the way of exercise (like DDR) for the next 2 weeks - month or I may tear my eardrum further.... I am rather... livid and grumpy about this as you might imagine but I am still going to try and bother to get some content up... Without being allowed to play DDR I should have PLENTY of spare time..... |
