"SHE DID WHAT!?!?" T.K. And Davis yelled at the same time. "I told you before", Izzy said, now getting angry that the two of them were shouting so much, "She got here yesterday and went in to look for the new guy who showed up in the digital world. Gatomon is with her so she’s perfectly safe, in fact, look she send me an e-mail." It read, "Hi Izzy! Me and Gatomon found him! Guess what? He’s got a D-3 and a digimon, but he is new to the digital world so I filled in the gaps for him last night. He’s badly hurt though so we may not be back too soon, Tell T.K. and Davis that I’m fine! ;-)". And Kari had signed her name at the bottom. Unfortunately for Izzy, both of them took the message in the worst way possible. "I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS! I’M GOING IN NOW!" The both said, and then turned to each other, "OH NO YOU DON’T!". Veemon and Patamon were both watching this very confused. "I still don’t see why Davish has gotta fight with T.K. every time he sees him." Veemon said scratching himself behind the ear. "T.K. is usually so calm too, I don’t get it." Said Patamon. Izzy suddenly clenched his fist turned to the two arguing boys and yelled at the top of his lungs, "QUIET BOTH OF YOU!" Izzy, usually being the quiet one stunned both of them into silence. "Ok, now that I have your attention, you BOTH are going into the digital world to help Kari. No arguments ok. I’m going to open a port very close to her and I want you to go and help her, and for the love of god take it easy on each other and this person she found." They both mumbled an ok and got out their digivices, "Digiport open!" Said T.K. And the two kids and their digimon were pulled through the screen.

During the night Gatomon and Drakemon had been taking turns as night watch. During one of the changes, "Drakemon, how come we never saw you before now?" Drakemon closed his eyes, "I awoke when Black Hawk entered the digital world. I knew he was in danger so I rushed to help him. I don’t remember much besides that." Gatomon sighed, "Too bad, we could have used another fighter in the group awhile ago, with Ken and now Myotismon to take his place. The Digital World has been pretty rough." Drakemon opened his eyes again, "If I had known, I would have come sooner. Get some rest, it’s my shift." Gatomon watched him walk to the edge of the camp. Cold, almost unfeeling, he seemed to her. "Like someone else I used to know" she said quietly with a smile.

Kari had fallen asleep next to Andrew over night. They had talked for hours about the digital world, their lives, and everything else they could think of. His mind still swam with questions though. Mainly, why was he picked for this? Andrew could think of a dozen people who were better qualified for this. Yet, he thought looking at the white digivice, he was chosen. He looked over at Drakemon, now wearing his Cloak with the hood down and his scarf off his face. He looked like a small bronze dragon with emerald green eyes, the same color as his coincidently. And that sword, Andrew swore it looked like a smaller version of his own. Finally Andrew’s questions gave into fatigue and he fell asleep.

The next morning Andrew was the first of the humans to awake, he saw Gatomon walking out of the forest with an armful of food. "Breakfast anyone?" Gatomon said brightly. Drakemon awoke now, took one of the fruits and sat by the remains of the fire, "Thanks", he said in the same cold tone as usual. Gatomon was about to say something to Kari but Andrew put his finger to his lips telling her to be quiet. Kari was still asleep and Andrew decided it was better not to wake her right now. Gatomon simply shrugged and sat down to eat. Andrew settled back down and closed his eyes; she had one arm on his chest so he wasn’t going to get up without waking her. At the time, sleep sounded a whole lot better.

"Davish I really don’t think there’s anything to worry about, Kari’s smart and she’s got Gatomon with her, she’s fine", Veemon had been trying to calm Davis down for the past hour, but everything he said seemed to make it worse. Davis was walking as quickly as he could toward Kari’s signal, "Yea well why hasn’t she e-mailed us or tried to contact us?" Patamon flew up next to him, "Well maybe she’s still sleeping. Its only 9:00 right?" T.K. was slowing his pace, "Davis I think they’re right, besides I really don’t think Kari would do anything stupid. Especially not if Gatomon is with her." Davis stopped in his tracks and sighed. "Yea I guess you guys are right, what am getting so worked up for.", he looks down at his digivice. "Well she should be in that clearing up ahead, lets get going." The four of them walked into the clearing and saw Kari laying with her arm on Andrew. They almost lost their jaws to the floor.
