Was the war on Pearl Harbor
just or unjust? Recently when I was having a cold, I could
do nothing
but watching TV, vidoes, surfing on the Internet.
So I put a
thread on this website to see how people react.
What I wrote was, if we use
the argument Bush is using that the Saddam or Al-Qaeda was threat to the
country,
so they did pre-emptive attack, we can justify Pearl Harbor. The US
was gathering maries or whatever
in the Pearl Harbor, and it was a huge
threat to Japan,
so we attacked pre-emptively...
What the US did
against Iraq can't be justified because
Saddam wasn't gathering any WMD or
had a link to Al-Queda, Osama bin Laden, 9/11 and so on.
Attack on Pearl
Harbor, however, can be justified because the US did gathered
enough size of
mariene as a threat to Japan.
Anyway, I don't want to justify any war, it is
just if you
see the history, there are a lot of things that contradicts.
Apply what Bush says to many events in history. You can find a lot of
contradictions, like Nicaragua
has a right to attack US even now. It is
justfied by what
Bush and many leaders of the world claims!
If the link
above is not working, try:

Then go to News,
Politics and Issues, then you can find
the title 'Was the attack on Perl
Harbort just or unjust?' somewhere in the list.
