This has been a year of trial and tribulations for our family. We have been so much already and then my Dad passed away on Thanksgiving Day.
We are in a time of mourning and will try to assist you as best as we can.
Please be patient as we try to get our life back on track.
We just buried Dad on Dec. 5th, 2008.
Rest in Peace Dad and See you at Heaven's gates soon!

We have the right to receive proper training. Otherwise, our good relationship could be marred by confusion and strife - and we could become dangerous to ourselves and others.
We have the right to guidance and correction based on understanding and compassion, rather than abuse.
We have the right to live with dignity...and to die with dignity when the time comes.

Our puppies are priced average compared to the market price for Chihuahuas. If you are looking for a cheap puppy, we do not have "cheap" puppies. I am sure you are searching for a nice looking, healthy and well socialized puppy. One without physical and emotional issues. Our parents have been hand selected because of their conformation, intelligence, temperament, size, lineage, health coat and color. A lot of thought goes into selecting each parent and who to match together to create your puppy. Our dogs are fed premium foods and given routine veterinary care plus emergency care and c-sections that can be as high as $1500.00 dollars. Each puppy is handled several times every day. Time and care are given to allow for your puppy to receive love and attention in a non stressful environment receiving a variety of experiences to prepare him or her for their new life with you. We sit for hours, sometimes days with a pregnant mother during her labor and delivery. We spend hands on time each day with each adult dog as it is necessary to give love and care to the parents not just their babies.

Remember you will have this puppy for an average life span of 17 years. Selecting a puppy is very important. A lot of you may have heard horror stories about purchasing a pet store puppy or a "cheap" puppy from an unknown background and breeding. I often hear that "I do not want a show puppy or to breed". Here at Hall's Country Pups we have good looking, well socialized healthy dogs and puppies. Each puppy is priced based on color, coat, size and pedigree. You MAY find a cheaper puppy but in the end it may not be a bargain. We will be glad to spend time with you on the phone, or by email helping you select the right puppy for you and being available to you after the puppy goes home for any questions you might have. The small cost difference between a "cheap" puppy and a quality puppy just might save you years of health issues and behavior problems and expenses

There are 2 types of Chihuahuas: apple head or deer head. Apple heads tend to have shorter legs, shorter noses and a small round head. The Deer heads tend to have longer legs, longer nose, and a bigger head. My Merle puppies tend to be deer heads. Please look at the pictures below to see the difference.

At anytime you decide you can no longer keep one of our Chihuahuas..please return the Chihuahua to us instead of putting it into a shelter. We will re-home a chihuahua to another loving family free of charge.

We do not give any refunds when you volunterely return a chihuahua to us...We place them on our Adoption page to be adopted to a qualified family. We never re-charge for a chihuahua that has been volunterely returned to us.
