First, I think 1-0 was a great result, because United's condition is not good at all. This year, United does not have many goals scored, and against a team like Roma;who has a great defence, this was an acceptable result.
Well, my true feeling was that I expected a game like last year's champion League; against Roma which finished 7-1 for United, but I just think that was the true ability Roma had. Doni played terrible as well as the other defenders.
Lets go back to the topic. United started off without Van der Sar, because of his injury. I was quite worried, although Kuszczak is a good keeper, he has never played in a stage like CL. As a result, he didn't do well, but not bad either. I can't say anything about him, because there wern't many shots on target. However, he has some trouble holding on the ball, but fortunatelly, this didn't affect the result.
Overall, United played well. But I thought they needed more concentration especially after Rooney's goal. There came a great chance for Roma....but United was lucky.
Finally, I thought the man of the match was Nani, with a great performance with cross and assist.
