DIARY

Growing up:
July 2007
August

October

When I was a lot younger, my friend got a dog, a finnish spitz, Kitron Nipa.
I started searching for a dog that'd fit me, and I ended up choosing malamute.
On May 23rd 07, I was surfing through the net and looking for dog breeders. I had decided I would finally get the dog I had dreamed of for so long. I had several choices, but I ended up once again searching for malamute pups. I was surprised to find the kennel of Helgaksen Lumo and their newborn litter of malamutes. The pups had just born on 21th May. I was wondering if all the pups had already found home, but I still decided to make a call to the breeder and ask. Three of the girls were still available and female was the gender I had had in my mind. Breeder agreed, and told me to tell her when I had chosen the pup I would want to have. :3
Few weeks passed and Pia (the breeder) kept updating their website with the pics of the pups as they grew. On the second week, one pup caught my eye. I knew she was the one I wanted, so I made a call to the breeder and told Pia I wished to buy Viola.
We made a contract of the pup and then begun the waiting for the day I would finally get to meet my new baby for the first time.

13th July 2007. I traveled from Northwest coast to Helsinki on a business trip, it was also the day when we went to pick my new pup from the breeder. The farm of Helgas was truly gorgeous. I got to meet the mom of the litter, Luffe, (Min Pel Rahanlumo).

The first time I got to hold my new pup. She ran around the farm with her little sisters and brothers.

This is Stella, she's Pup's step sister from the past litter. She's got wooly fur, and she truly was huge and gorgeous dog. :3

We got into the car. Baby cried a bit at first when she realized that we had left the farm. But she calmed down and was really enjoying the car ride.

Grampa and Fuji. :3 Heh, she was such a cute little lapdog. We were wondering what name to give her and gramma decided we should name her Fuji, after the magnifisant mount Fuji in Japan.

15th July 2007
The next day after Fuji arrived to our house. Two of my sisters came to see her.

Our cats were kind of confused, since they had never seen a dog in their life before.

Few days later, she's getting along well with the cats and her ears have risen. :3 She loves howling, mostly 'cause she still misses her mom and siblings. Ive been sleeping in the living room with her for the last 2 nights, but im going to stop doing so now, since she's gotten used to her new home and needs to start learning to sleep alone at night.

Fuji and Skidi love to wrestle. Fuji's bigger, but Skidi is always the one to stop the fight if she gets too rough. Bimbo watches from afar as they play and wont join them 'cause she's still very small kitten and will probably stay like that, as a mini cat. :'3
