My introduction into the Australian Shepherd world was by accident. I was out shopping with a Friend looking for horse tack and it was love at first sight. The features were striking and I looked forward to the day to finding one for myself. Later on, while house hunting, our very young daughter was walking towards a large pond and I could not believe it but, there was the homeowner's Aussie walking to our Daughter getting her attention pulling her back away from the pond. How could I not own an Aussie?
Since 1998, Country Road has slowly turned into a kennel that produces Aussies who excel in the AKC Conformation rings, ASCA Conformation rings and be able to respond to the performance that's asked of them. As well, I have handled Aussies owned by other kennels at shows for them. Even with the importance of competing, They are our Pets first.
Flash is Our first AKC CH. and he made it with limited showing., He also has a 5 point major in ASCA going BOB out of class's. He is a very sweet boy & we are proud of him.
All of our Aussies are OFA'd & have there Eyes screened & certified by an Ophthalmologist yearly.

Once you own an Aussie, You will never want to go back to any other breed. Aussies are a Beautiful, Highly intelligent & energetic breed. If you want a Dog that is a good companion & your shadow, Then maybe an Aussie is for you..
